BIRDS KEEPING WARM IN WINTER

DO YOU WANT TO ATTRACT SONGBIRDS IN WINTER?

As we head into November and the temperature begins to dip into the Winter season, your backyard songbirds, who depended more on insects and spiders, have to survive on foraging. They will be depending on mostly seeds and berries for nourishment. Bird lovers everywhere can help with supplementing this diet with black-oil Sunflower seeds. It is a favorite food of  most seed-eating birds like Chickadees, Finches, Cardinals, Sparrows and many more. These seeds are a rich source of protein and the oil is so highly concentrated, that it will assist in keeping the glands that help insulate birdfeathers, maintaining warmth in the coming cold days and nights ahead. Make sure to move your feeder to a place where it is not exposed to the elements.  You will be rewarded with gorgeous visitors!
