Birding Up For Summer!

Hello Bird Lover Friends And A Happy Mother's Day Month To You!

It has been a while since we updated you...all the little birdies are about to learn how to fly and we celebrate the beauty of the flowers a-bloom and the many, many sunny days we are enjoying in the Northwest! We thought it would be fun to add color to our suet feeders with colored yarn to be used by our feathered nesters!

Just as school is about to wrap up for the Summer break, and we look forward to Graduation Day and Father's Day, Wings is serving up the bounty of local artists. The creative and engaging elementary school teachers and supportive parents made our May's First Friday Artwalk very special. We are featuring Mrs. Brown's 4th Grade students at Chautauqua Elementary School. The school's student mobile bird art is all the buzz around town!

Also on display are Krista Wallenberg's birdnest collection which has been a passion of hers since childhood. Come in and have a look around... you are sure to find something special and run into friends, enjoy our freshly brewed Wings Birdseed Co. Blend Coffee, relax and enjoy!

Snow On Vashon January 2012

There was snow this week and we made sure to feed our birds. We stayed close to the window and welcomed Finches,  Sparrows, were surprised by a pair of Starlings, and as always Hummingbirds....Hope you enjoy the following pictures and videos and the carpet of fresh fallen snow.
